As a child care provider, you play a crucial role in helping children get the nourishment they need to grow and thrive. Throughout this training, you will participate in a variety of hands-on activities that will help you improve your skills at planning and preparing tasty, healthy, low-cost meals for the children in your care. You will also learn how to work with children - both in an out of the kitchen - to encourage healthy eating habits that will stick with them for life.

You will leave the training with:

  • Your very own Cooking Matters Workbook with chef's secrets, kid-friendly recipes, nurturing healthy eaters and much more.
  • A bag of groceries to take home and practice what you learned.
